Windhill continued their recent good form in an extraordinary game with Wrose Rangers, which saw Windhill fight back from 6-1 down to claim a point.

Wrose took the lead but were soon pegged back by Windhill only to score 5 consecutive goals to go 6-1 up. However, Windhill heads did not drop, pulling the game back to 6-5 before a goal a piece from each team took it to 7-6 to Wrose.

Chris Saville added to his two earlier goals with a late hatrick to put Windhill 10-9 up before being seriously injured by a horror tackle, the lads were unable to hold on to the victory and had to settle for a 10-10 draw.

This result leaves them in 2nd place and now only two points off top place after Inter Course’s defeat to Nabwood.
